Altonaer Fischauktionshalle

Altonaer Fischauktionshalle

The Altonaer Fischauktionshalle is a strong magnet for visitors since its initiation, personally carried out by Emperor Wilhelm in 1896. The building, that is being used as an event location today, was built in the style of a Roman basilica. Freshly caught fish had been put up for action here until 1955. There was an elaborate restoration of the historical building in the 1980s. The Altonaer Fischauktionshalle lies directly at the Elbe river, right in the heart of Hamburg harbor. The hall is individually dividable, so that major events of all kinds can be held here, from festive receptions to trade fairs up to business events.

We will take over the complete organization of your event, if you wish. We will take care of catering, decoration, equipment and furniture.

The event area offers space for a maximum of 4.200 persons on 3.500m². Receptions are possible with up to 3.500, banquets with up to 1.800 guests. Are you planning a conference? No problem, we will arrange rowed seating with 1.200 seats for you.
