In May 2008 it ultimately happened – cast off for a unique project: Germany’s first event and conference center floating on a pontoon in the middle of Hamburg City. The idea for the water location ‘KAI 10 – The Floating Experience’ originated at an event dealing with the subject ‘Visions for more life on the water’.

The pontoon on which you will find the special location ‘KAI 10 – The Floating Experience’ is swimming on the mid-channel directly connected with the four star hotel Mercure Hamburg City. Gangway, rail and deck and the white shining curved front – fundamental parts of the concept ‘The Floating Experience’ – inspire maritime associations.

On three floors on, above and under water the floating event location KAI 10 offers 450 square meters for events with up to 350 persons. Especially the conference area with two halls offers room for up to 150 participants. In a lounge above the loading canal the guests can enjoy the evening sun and later on dive under deck to enjoy their party. Those who are longing for the sun relax on the club terrace directly on the water.

All rooms of the special location KAI 10 can be combined with each other and are equipped with modern event technology.
